Using research I recently did about poster designs I got several ideas from google images, for example the photos below that are around my design these influenced my work and gave me the idea to use lines to create an abstract triangle look to the design. However I only used it on certain areas of the design as I didn't want to complicate it. To begin with on this design I placed some 2pt black lines randomly and then in the areas that created a shape I went around with the pen tool and then created the inside of the tape black. Then finally I placed white lines inside the black shapes to create an abstract look to my design. I created this design using the pen tool mainly but also used the shape tool and removed certain pen tool point to see if that would work.
This is my 2nd final poster design. Making this poster was enjoyable as I liked using different tools and techniques in my work. I also liked working with this particular image as it is very eye-catching and vibrant, I feel it is suited well to the task set and following the original banner design. Im unsure on how I could improve it but I feel there is still room for improvement.
