Plaster and teddy bear experiment

After doing all this printing work I thought I would try out a different media. I looked into my past work I saw my plaster work. This gave me the idea to use the plaster but keep the theme with the teddies involved. As shown below I moulded them into the wet plaster and smeared blue ink into it to add a more vibrant look to it. I then let it dry for two days, when it had dried I decided to pull the bears out to see the texture and detail that they had left. I did this as it links with the printing work with all the detail and after result. I had two teddies however I wanted to unloved a third one, so I made another one myself out of plasticine. This one in particular was the east to get out of the plaster as it just lifted straight out. For the support of the plaster I used scrim as this material I have used before and it is very strong when supporting and holding it all together.
