This work was another experiment idea that was just an option for my utopian dream. I decided to link it to my past block colour work as that is my main dream. This is a small basic painting of what I would like it to look like. Also on the pages I have made notes of artists that link, ideas for what materials to use and how to link it to other artist's work. Ive done this to help me get an image in my head of what the costume could look like and how I could make it.
Secondly I bought a small wooden man to practice my costume on and to try different shades of paint out on him. I used five simple colours on him; white, red, orange, black and blue I chose these colours because they are the same as some of the chosen colour in my other block work. Also to make the wooden figure a little bit more exciting I add golden glitter to the white splats to create a glowing and shiny look to him.

Then finally to understand a proper idea for my costume I used plastercine to make the coloured boxes for the wooden man and other straight and sharp tools to get the straight lines and to carve the holes out for the parts of the body. Again I used all the colours that are in my past work and looked into artists such as De Stijl which uses block colours and simple outlines. Depends on how my ideas develop I will create this costume using plaster bandage or cardboard, I shall see.
