Another experiment I did was using cardboard and left over plaster and white paint. I found this cardboard object in the back room of the 3D studio, it is the shape of a 3D triangle but with out a base. I placed it on its right side so the bottom was more open. Then I poured the left over plaster on top of the cardboard and it ran through the centre of t as it was very runny and thin plaster. When it had dried it created a small puddle of plaster that had surrounded the edges of the cardboard. I found this quite strange as it looked like it shouldn't be therein my opinion. Secondly I poured the white paint over it all, when it had dried I put more in the corner of it so it ran through the triangle. However I drizzled around the edges little bits of white to create a messy look to it instead of it being very boring and simple.
To make this sculpture better, I decided to use colour. This is so that it links with my artists Jim Lambie and Niki De Saint Phalle as they both use white and bold vibrant colours. I chose to use inside of the triangle as it links with my past work with the ink bombs. Although the ink worked okay I realised after it dried that I should of used paint. This was because the ink wasn't as powerful as paint and the colours didn't stand out as much. Even though it was only a little experiment I think I could of gone bit further with it and maybe hung it fully somewhere or even attached it to something as an extra piece of detail. I also added to make it more exciting a water balloon field with air just to link back with my balloons artwork and to include another little piece of detail in it.
