After doing my balloon experiment I decided to use the paint splatters from the balloons bursting onto the white A1 sheets of paper and I put them behind my wooden block work. It created a much more exciting and vibrant look to it and expressed colour in a way I wouldn't normal do. One of the sheets of paper was stuck to the floor in the 2D studio as it had dried to it. So I began to peel it off but it sadly ripped, I could still use parts of the paper as some were bigger than others like the one in the centre of the background as you can see how much it has torn. I placed the one at the top to have the affect of the ink running down onto the other pieces of art too add more detail to the paintings. Ive also changed the vibrance and brightness of this photo on photoshop and effected the curves and levels of it to make it much sharper and bolder.
Another little experiment I tried out was using plaster bandage around one of the lower blocks. At first I wrapped the whole block in the plaster bandage, then tried adding different moulds and shapes to the block for example: rectangles, balls and squares. This created a very abstract and futuristic look it it and made it stand out amongst the other blocks. The block then dried and I chose to flick paint on it to see what the outcome would be. I feel I could of defined the shapes a lot more but it was very delicate and fussy to work with. This tester doesn't link with my composition work that much but it was simply just experimenting to see if it would work our not.
