For my first design I used a painting I created with spray paint, and uploaded it into photoshop to make it bolder and brighter. When using photoshop I used curves and selective colour to create a faded and bright look to it. Then after transferring it into illustrator I added extra detail to the poster as it was very plain and boring, so to elaborate on it I created a variety of animals and human outlines and killed them in black to add people to the village as this then links with my town as there is many elderly people living there. Also to add more detail I made more houses using the shapes tool e.g squares, circles and rectangles. Along the strip at the top i made black road markings using the pen tool to lay across the line to symbolise a pathway. However when I printed this out it didn't look as good as I thought it would, so I attempted another try and it still didn't work so Ive decided to leave the strip white. Where as in the circle I've included one of the buildings with in the design but made it a lot more bolder and modern.
