Review of Sewhat

My time at the Sewhat show was great, it let me see different styles of how people work with make up, fashion and hair. Including our collage there were other schools and colleges that attended too however none of them seem to be as strange and artistic as us.  I found this a good thing as we stood out more and made more of an impression than the other groups. This photo is the backstage of the show just before we began. Time wasn't really a problem for me as my costume had already been created at college and my hair was the only thing I needed to do. Im also very glad I attended the show as this also goes towards my work experience hours and skills to develop for uni and future jobs.

Walking down the cat walk was easy as i chose to use flat shoes so I was able to walk safely in them, however for my friends it was harder as both had very poor eye sight, in fact the boy on the right couldn't see at all. He did this thought to get the scary obscure look he wanted. Although they both had poor sight in my opinion I still think they did well even if they both did nearly fall off the stage during the show. One thing I did find that id improve was the inside of my skirt. aI had been so focused of the whole look of it and choosing the correct colours for it that I didn't edit the sharp edges of the wire inside it, so whilst I was walking on the stage I had scratched all of the top area of my leg and lower back from the edges of uncut wire. However my overall experience of the show was amazing and I would definitely do it all again.
