I painted these paintings from Franz Klines work to understand how he uses paint and the colours in his own way. By doing this it is helping me decide where I want to proceed to in the future and where I am going with this unit. I began by getting a very thick paint brush and created the black lines first then added the colours in afterwards. I enjoyed painting these photos as they are bold and bright and it made my creative side come out more when being more free with the paint. The painting that is just black and white is my favourite as I find it quite ghostly and freakish because f the grey colours and tones, also the lines are very complicated and moving so this attracts me to look at it more.
