After experimenting the first time with willow and charcoal I decided to try again with this material as I feel I need to work with it more in order to develop better with this material. However we had to improvise in this lesson as we didn't have a live model, we chose a skeleton and dressed it with what clothes and items we found around the building. For example, we found a coat, a woollen hat and doctors face mask. These items were good to work with as they mixed things up a bit from the other lessons. I enjoyed drawing the skeleton's spine mainly because it was a strange shape and I knew I could add detail to it. As you can see below I experimented with another colour of chalk; red, I did this to change it a little and create a deep look to the drawing. Improving them however is something I wouldn't do as I like them the way they are, this is because I find them quite inspiring and different, I will look back on this work and see how I have developed my work after another few more lessons.
