This piece of work is in the style of Franz Kline, David Hockney and Pablo Picasso. I began by cutting up my life drawings that I painted in the style of Franz Kline as I want the body features of this painting. Then from another painting I cut the head off of it and another breast, I did this to link it to Picasso's work as he creates very abstracrt pieces of work that includes more than one body feature, this is why I included a third breast. Also I added block colours behind the body as Franz uses lots of thick block colours so the main image stands out more. However all this links to David Hockney's work as this is what hes does, he arranges different parts of his work into a new composition. This is why I did this with my work to link it to all three artists ive focused on in my work.
