This model was created in 2D, I began building a wire model of one of my real life drawings, however I only focused on the lower part of the body as I felt it had more definition and detail. I wore gloves and eye protection when making this model as the wire I a very dangerous material. Then covered it in newspaper to make it more stable. Next I made a paper pulp substance, using glue, water and ripped up newspaper. Using my hands I squeezed it all together and moulded it into a paste. I then stuck it onto the model and covered every bit of newspaper showing.
Although I finished it, I am very disappointed with the outcome as it did not work out the way I wanted it to, this is because I feel it is very simple and has fallen apart. The reason why this happened is because I put to much of the paste on, it was too thick and heavy for the model and it had caused it to collapse and break apart.
