To go towards my costume design work, we used plaster bandage and clingfilm to create a solid face mask. The health and safety in this experiment was very important as keeping my nostrils clear for me to breathe was vital even though my sight was gone. I was made sure that my body was covered in overalls just to make sure no spillages could get onto me and to make sure it was safe for another student to be abel to walk around me safely and it was easy access for her. In some way I enjoyed having this done to me as it was relaxing, I even fell asleep for a while as it took about 30 minutes to create it. I am very happy with the overall view of it as I feel the eye sockets and the shapes of the lips are formed correct. Eventually when it is dry I am thinking about painting it and adding colour, if possible I may even cut the eyes out so I am able to see when wearing it.
