Development of my storyboard for my college journey

First I began by sketching different lay outs for my storyboard and see which ideas would be suitable for showing my journey so far through college. However I also wrote in the top right corner, the stages of my experience in college so far, I did this so I had several ideas to include into the sections of the storyboard. Such as: contact service, applying, waiting for reply, food, teachers, travel, trips and the first day I entered the college. I chose these suggestions because I can express how I felt when these options occurred using shapes and drawings.

My next idea was to do simple sketches on post-it notes so they were movable around my page. I drew my feelings and what happened in each stage of my journey. For example, when waiting for my reply from college to see if I had been accepted or not, I drew bold sharp lines to show my anger and frustration. I also noted down words that linked with the situation such as "taking ages" "thinking about Doncaster college" and "Time wasting".

I then used a sheet of A2 paper and enlarged one of my strongest lay outs onto it. Secondly, I took the post-it notes off of my ideas sheet and placed them in the order of my journey. In some sections there are two notes, this is because there are more than one point I want to make about this stage of college. I feel I am happy with my ideas for each stage however I know I need to develop the sketches more for it to be clearer and to be able to get my point across to the viewer.
