Specialist Art and Design interest

My main interests in art and design are abstract work, some fine art and oil pastels. However I also enjoy using clay and plaster bandage, this is because I find it very expressive and independent when working with these materials. Above all I enjoy painting. Using different materials and techniques when painting is an important part of art and design for me as it helps me express my feelings and encourages me come out of my comfort zone.

General Interests

I have a variety of interests such as, extreme sports, art, music and experiencing different foods and places. In the summer of 2015 I attended an event named National Citizens Service (NCS), this was held in the lake district. On the experience I hiked over mountains and caves for several hours, abseiled, kayaked and went gorge scrambling. This was an amazing experience as it built my confidence and leadership skills. I enjoy various types of music and enjoy expressing my feelings using art techniques e.g. painting and drawing.
