Wire/tissue paper model

This structure was created in my 3D study. My idea was from the drawings I did in 2D of the triangular object shown in the photo below. I chose to create a model in the style of that object because I knew that I could feel confident when using tissue paper and felt it could be a very abstract piece of work. The photo I drew in 2D was drawn with charcoal placed on the end of a willow stick, this is why certain lines aren't accurate or neat. However we did this to experiment with different materials and find a more abstract look but during using the stick we had to be cautious and aware who and what was behind us as the stick was rather large and long.

I began by making a wire structure of the object and I selected a thicker style of wire to create a firm and strong structure. Then a decided to use a thinner wire for the base of the prism, I then wrapped it around the edges for a heavy base forming a flat surface on the bottom. This was to make sure the model was supported and was able to stand up firmly without falling over or dismantling. The health hazards I had to look out for was my eyes and hands, I wore gloves and goggles to project these parts of my body from the wire cutting me or going in my eyes.
